okay, so i read that its because of google adsense. Well, i never applied for google adsense, and never applied to be a partner. Also, arent i supposed to get paid from it? I havent gotten a message from Youtube saying anything like that. Does anyone know why the ads are there, and how i can contact youtube so i can get paid?

Hey everyone, Im basically wanting to give blogging a go while using google adsense. Anyways. I made a adsense account and a blogging account on blogger. com. Now my question is, how will my blog be searchable? Also, how does blogging work. Questions about blogging?
I own a bunch of catchy domain names and would like to build some discussion forums around them. I want to build a traffic base without necessarily having to add new content myself, and figure this is the easiest (best?) way to do it. Some of them are topics close to my heart so I would have a vested interest in contributing to discussion and stimulating activity.
Assuming I have no knowledge of web development:
1. How easily could I implement a discussion forum?
2. How much would it typically cost to hire someone to do it for me?
3. How much ongoing cost/maintenance would be required on my part?
4. Can such sites realistically make decent money from AdSense and/or other advertising? I realize this is traffic based, so an example of money that could potentially be earned from x-y-z visitors would be helpful.
5. How much effort/money would be required to promote it, both initially and ongoing?
6. What are the typical hosting costs for such sites, again based on x-y-z visitors?
7. What are typical selling prices for such forums, again based on x-y-z visitors, assuming I would like to sell them one day?

I started a blog on Blogger/Blogspot, and the main point of it is to talk about beauty products. My concern though is whether or not I am allowed to use pictures of the products from the companys web site. For example, I am doing a post on MAC makeup, and want to use a picture of their primer that they have on the MAC web site. Is this legal? Does being signed up for Google adsense make it harder? Id like to create a non-profit website that can be monetized via ads (adsense for example), however, I want users to be able to collaborate on the information of the website easily. Its a website for snowboarding tricks, so a regular person can come add a page or entry for a trick or add a picture or youtube video to a page (no video hosting, only image) relatively easily. If not, an easy way to assign say 25 people to be able to edit information on the website.
I know a bit about regular sites, but not much about CMS like drupal or joomla or wiki sites. It seems like wiki sites lack features but CMS would lack the collaboration I require.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of what kind of solution I should be looking for?
